Built in 1607, this Peak District family run Gastro - Pub
has something to offer everyone. Traditional and contemporary
food is freshly prepared using local produce. You can choose
from four different dining areas all under one roof. This
means you can be as relaxed as you like, or enjoy a more formal
experience if preferred.
The Bar and Snug
Enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional village pub. Relax with
a pint, sample our own Druids Ale with a leisurely bar lunch.
Our featured wine cave invites you to browse for your favourite
vintage, or choose one of our guest wines.
Upper & Lower Restaurants
The Lower Restaurant, with its open kitchen and contemporary
feel, seats up to 32 in comfort, making it the ideal venue
for your private party.
The Upper Restaurant has a slightly more intimate feel, seating
up to 28.
The Outside Terrace
The Outside Terrace completes the picture, where on
a bright sunny day, you can relax and savour your meal and
drink whilst enjoying the Derbyshire views.
Each dining area has the same varied and ever-changing menu.
We offer a selection ranging from light bites such as classic
or hot sandwiches, right through to two or three course meals.
Here at the Druid we produce everything to order
from fresh, using only local produce from within the Peak
District. Unlike other restaurants, there are no pre-made
dishes. Because of this, during busy times there might be
a slight delay. Please be patient, we feel the end product
is well worth the wait. Service is not included and we welcome
all feedback, please take the time and fill in one of our
comment cards.
